Wild Cats World Serval Sanctuary Expansion fundraiser!

Our supporter Genevieve was so very kind to start a fundraiser for us, knowing how much we do need funds now to continue to do good for many more servals as well as all resident servals (we rescued already 19 of which 14 from Belgium/Holland) and other wild cats and animals. Only with your support we can keep going!!! Please show you care.

I am personally championing this fundraiser because I believe deeply in the work of Wild Cats World. As a donor and advocate, I have seen
firsthand the integrity, transparency, and tireless effort behind this organisation. Founder Babette carries an extraordinary responsibility largely on her own, and this campaign is about inviting the international community to share that responsibility and help protect wild cats in an ethical and permanent manner.

Servals are wild animals, not pets. Across Europe, inconsistent laws have led to servals being bred, sold, abandoned, or confiscated. Some arrive as orphaned kittens after their mothers were killed. Without sanctuaries like Wild Cats World, these animals have nowhere safe to go. We have already rescued 19 Servals at WCW, but many, many more need our help.

We are raising €10,000 to expand our camps to rescue and support additional orphaned servals from abandonment, illegal trade and trafficking, or euthanasia. There are significant costs involved in the rescue and ongoing support of these orphaned Servals; transport costs to bring the animals to our farm in South Africa, building big camps to accommodate the animals and provide a suitable environment, food, water and medical care for life, and local staff costs.

Wild animals require space to live in a natural environment, which provides them with all of the activities they would be doing in their wild lives, such as running and playing Wild Cats World stands firmly against canned hunting, breeding for profit, and the exploitation of animals for tourism. 100% of donations go directly to animal care and conservation. Our enclosure expansion creates a permanent, ethical solution — not a temporary fix.
