Javan leopard release program – Update October 30, 2013

Great news for our Javan Leopard Release project. The Ciremai National Park wants to cooperate with us in the Release Project, allowing us to have at least one, and maybe both, leopards released there. That would be super for Sawal and maybe also Dimas. BUT first habitat assessment needs to be done in this National Park and also in Malabar area. After that could be decided if it is the right place to have one or both leopards released there. In the meantime we are still in need for funds to keep the project going, so please if you can help. We in Wild Cats World will double the funds we received in the end, so the more the better for the Javan Leopards sake. They need to be free and you can help them!!!!!!

Pallas cat conservation

As announced on March 16 in 2017, the WCW Pallas Cat Conservation Project has become a reality.

The project could be split in two activities:

  • Help and support Zoo de Lyon to raise funds for work related to the Pallas cat Conservation in-situ and ex-situ.
  • Raise funds for the PICA project – Pallas’s cat International Conservation Alliance.
